Samples of fish products were examined in Atyrau

As part of food safety monitoring, the bacteriological laboratory of the branch of the National Center for Expertise in Atyrau region received samples of fish products. For research, all samples according to the plan were taken from regional outlets.

In the first quarter of 2022, 26 samples were taken for compliance with TR EAEU 040/2016 “On the safety of fish and fish products” and 156 microbiological studies were carried out.

So, in the sample of preserved fish “Atlantic fillet-pieces in oil” (manufacturer of the Russian Federation, Astrakhan), according to the microbiological indicator “Mesophilic aerobic, facultative anaerobic microorganisms”, an excess of the standard indicator at the level of -9 * 106 CFU / g (CFU / g -colony forming units).

In this fish product, the indicator "Mesophilic aerobic, facultative anaerobic microorganisms" in accordance with the above regulatory document should not exceed -2*105 CFU/g.

For your information: CFU - Colony forming unit means the number of bacteria capable of forming a full-fledged microbial colony. CFU are determined in 1 gram of the test product, as a result, the value of CFU / g is obtained.
